Asher is scooting! He arches his back and balances on his belly then throws his arms forward and scrunches his knees to scoot a couple inches forward, or to the side, and sometimes accidentally backwards if his arms are pushing harder than his little chubby legs. A few other firsts that have been recent are his first time sitting in a shopping cart without and support besides the strap, and he graduated to a convertible car seat. The cutie also woke up this morning blowing raspberries and laughing about it, and he has perfected the sound of "D" by agonizing repetition which makes me think it is his favorite letter to sound so far. Or he really loves his dada, or most likely both!
We took Tucker to the dog park this morning, it was beautiful and sunny and almost warm. The gravel was even dry which never happens. Asher talked to all the dogs as they ran past but ignored the people for the most part except an old man who would smile and say hello to Asher from a few feet away and Asher, bless his heart, would smile all goofy and big at him. I really think it made that man's day.
