Asher's 1st birthday

We had a great first birthday for Asher, which was more for me than him I think since we also had it as a going away party. All of our close friends came and is was nice to realize how wonderful people can be no matter where you may live or where you are in your life.

I didn't get a picture of all the guests but I was so grateful that everyone I wanted to show up came.

Our friends the Salts got him this little lion walker and he drags it around when not walking with it. The only down side is he gets really upset when it runs into the wall or a chair and gets stuck. 

We tried a confetti cupcake first and he wouldn't eat it so chocolate it is.

Asher really was happy, he just didn't appreciate the flash on the camera...

The Thomas's took us out to lunch to Sweet Tomato and Asher had his first experience with jello, not all of it got in his mouth.

Here are the cupcakes I made and decorated for him.

We decided to display his cuteness.

This dump truck was a huge hit! He would push anyone away who tried to play with it.
